Kent has been a member since 1983..... he has served on the board of directors for one term (3 years) twice.... marketing skills kept him employed by Andrew Jergens and P&G until 1983 when he decided he had enough of this work nonsense and enjoy the good things in life.... like golf........ we are glad he did.......
Frank joined the Club in 1984...... he is actually in that select minority of Par Hopers..... he is considered a good golfer sporting a good lifetime handicap with the league..... we do not have that many in that category.... a former member of the Terrace Park Country Club...... he has shared his savy of the game by being a board member and past president.... he has had some health difficulties recently that have kept him from active participation.... we wish Frank well.
George is another of the many par hopers that has found a niche by helping good causes..... he is very active on helping raise funds for deaf children among the many activities..... he is also very instrumental in working with the Cincinnati Recreation Commission junior golf program which has an annual championship at Reeves..... a member since 1991, George is another one of the many good guys that populate this organization.....
Charlie is a 1986 enrollee...... his working days at the United States Postal Service completed, he also decided that golf was where he ought to be......it seems time has not left much of a mark on this member while he continue to enjoy golfing with the par hopers any time he gets a chance......
One cannot really say enough about Stu..... every league play day, rain or shine, this man is at the starter's table at 7:00am gathering names and handing out foursome score cards...... and he has done this since the very beginning of time...... seriously, time and again Stu has proved to be one of the organizational staples of this Club both in functionality and in team spirit....... member since 1992.... not that it really matters, because this man truly loves both, the game and his assignment as a head starter for the league.....
Domenico, as he was known in his native Italy, is a typical example of the american dream..... emigrated from Italy at a very young age, after a short stint of working for someone, he decided to be on his own...... had a business for more years that he cares to count and then he could not resist the lure of the little white ball...... a members since 1990, board member for one term he very seldom misses a golf date.... in Italy, they build them to last........
Bob, a member since 1992, has a distinguished carrer as an educator..... a professor of chemical engineering at the University of Cincinnati has used his professional skills on the links to play a mean game of golf..... in fact Bob is the 2005 Club Championship flight D winner..... another example of the par hopers keeping octogenarians playing and winnings...... it is all in the water........
And finally, we come to the 2005 overall net champion......considering that this man is going to be a nonagenarian next year, that is a feat in itself....... a members since 1985 Dick, like all of the other members, is a congenial golfer by nature , a good golf partner...... as we have stated elsewhere in past newsletter, we keep them young.....
