Fellow Par Hopers,

I hope that each of you and your families enjoyed a wonderful holiday season full of joy, happiness, and excellent health.

It is now 2023 and our 60^th year as a club.  Shortly we’ll be ramping up for another year of fun, frolic and frivolity on the golf course. 

We had a tremendous year in 2022 because of the unwavering effort and hard work of your Board Members (Terry Dullaghan, Richard Jeffreys, Dan Ticotsky, Dave Utterback, Bob Dominique), Appointed Members (Ed Basista, Wayne Beavers, Mark Bricker, Dan Martin, Tom Walker), and Photographer (George Dostie).  It was my privilege to be the “cheerleader” for each of these men who did all the work. I know that each of these men worked diligently and tirelessly to make our CLUB better.  And it is better.  Our membership increased by more than 25 new members; we had over 60 participants playing each official play day; we added several new games – some of which met with great success and others that fizzled due to complexity or intricate processes.  All in all, we had fun, made some new friends, shared a few meals, and had a few beers together.

Going forward, as I stated last year, we look to adding new innovative ways to making our game more fun, ways to get members to meet other members, and ways to spread the fun.  We encourage each of you to make suggestions, bring forth new ideas, and to express yourself in ways that can improve what we are doing.  We will work within the scope of the Par Hoper Constitution and By-Laws and be transparent, truthful and civil to each other.

Let’s work together, play together, enjoy our friendships and make new strides in the coming year.
